Information Security Analyst - Almada, Portugal


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's sensitive information and systems from potential cyber threats. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and risk analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access attempts
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures and controls
- Investigate security incidents and breaches, provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay updated on emerging security trends, technologies, and threats
- Conduct security awareness training for employees

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices
- Experience with biometric passport systems is highly preferred
- Familiarity with network protocols and tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
