Part-Time Information Security Analyst


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and implementing solutions to ensure the security of our company's data.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats
- Develop and implement security protocols to protect company data from cyber attacks
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement disaster recovery plans
- Stay informed on the latest developments in information security and make recommendations for improvements as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make quick decisions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Almada but remote work may be possible depending on the candidate's location.
