Data Mining Analyst


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our dynamic team in Almada. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and extracting valuable information from large datasets using various data mining techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of statistics, data analysis, and computer programming.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize data mining tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets
- Develop and maintain data models for predictive analysis and forecasting
- Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Cleanse, organize, and integrate data from multiple sources
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
- Continuously monitor data quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with data mining tools such as SAS, SPSS or RapidMiner
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience working on big data projects is a plus

Salary: 1700$ per month

Location: Almada
