Part-Time Data Mining Analyst

As a part-time Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to uncover valuable insights and trends. You will work closely with our team of data scientists and business analysts to identify key patterns and relationships within the data. This role requires strong technical skills in data mining, as well as experience with programming languages such as Python or R.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and clean large datasets from various sources
- Use advanced data mining techniques to identify patterns and relationships in the data
- Collaborate with team members to develop models and algorithms for predictive analysis
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through visualizations and reports
- Continuously monitor and review data quality to ensure accuracy of analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data mining or related field
- Proficient in SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods such as regression, clustering, etc.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Attention to detail and ability to handle large datasets

Location: Almada (with possibility for remote work)

Salary: $1400/month
