A publishing company in Almada is seeking an experienced Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and laying out text and images for various printed materials, such as books, magazines, and newspapers. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Format and layout text and images using specialized software
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and font consistency
- Make adjustments to layout based on design specifications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality final products
- Proofread final layouts for errors or inconsistencies
- Meet strict deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter in a publishing or printing company
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography and design principles
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
