Forum Moderator

As a Forum Moderator for our online community in Almada, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and engaging environment for our users. Your primary role will be to monitor and moderate all user-generated content, such as forum posts, comments, and discussions. You will also be in charge of enforcing community guidelines and policies, resolving conflicts between users, and promoting healthy discussions among members.

In addition to moderation duties, you will also be expected to actively participate in the community by contributing to discussions and providing valuable insights. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to handle potentially sensitive or controversial topics with tact and diplomacy. Attention to detail is crucial as you will need to identify and address any violations of community guidelines promptly.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of online communities and their dynamics. Previous experience as a forum moderator or in a similar customer service role is preferred. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to online communities is also desirable.

This is a part-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month. The schedule will vary but may include evenings and weekends depending on the needs of the community. This position can be performed remotely from anywhere in Almada with access to a reliable internet connection.
