Facade Construction Assistant

As a Facade Construction Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the construction of building facades in the city of Almada. You will work alongside experienced professionals and learn the skills necessary to become a successful facade construction worker. This is an entry-level position, so no prior experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of facade materials, including glass, aluminum panels, and other cladding materials
- Use hand and power tools to cut and shape materials according to specifications
- Help with the preparation and cleaning of work areas
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Learn to read blueprints and follow instructions from supervisors
- Communicate effectively with team members and participate in group meetings

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced workers
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Comfortable working at heights or on scaffolding (training will be provided)
- Must have own visa or be eligible to work in Almada

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field
- Familiarity with building facades or cladding systems
- Ability to speak Portuguese (not required)
