Roofer Supervisor

We are a reputable construction company based in Almada and we are currently hiring a skilled Roofer Supervisor to join our team. As the supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of roofers and ensuring that all roofing projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of roofers, assigning daily tasks and providing guidance and training as needed
- Inspect job sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Coordinate with project managers to plan and schedule roofing projects according to client specifications
- Order materials and equipment needed for each project, ensuring timely delivery
- Monitor progress of projects, provide regular updates to management, and address any issues or delays that may arise
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work is completed according to industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of projects, including materials used, labor hours, and project costs

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a roofer, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of different roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be physically fit and able to work at heights for extended periods of time
