Plasterer

A reputable construction company in Almada is seeking an experienced Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in plastering and be knowledgeable in various plastering techniques. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for preparing and applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish. You will also need to have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, and filling in any holes or cracks
- Mix plaster ingredients according to instructions or using premixed plaster
- Apply plaster using hand tools or spray equipment
- Smooth out imperfections using trowels or other tools
- Create decorative finishes such as texturing or stenciling
- Repair damaged plaster on existing walls or ceilings
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in plastering
- Knowledgeable in various plastering techniques including traditional methods and modern materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality workmanship
- Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month.

Benefits:
The position is full-time with standard working hours from Monday-Friday. We provide free visa sponsorship and round-trip ticket for non-local candidates. Accommodation is not included.
