Vehicle Dismantler

A vehicle dismantler is responsible for disassembling vehicles, salvaging usable parts, and recycling or disposing of the remaining materials. They must have a strong understanding of automotive mechanics and be able to use a variety of tools and equipment to safely and efficiently dismantle vehicles. This position requires physical strength and stamina as well as attention to detail. The ideal candidate will also have experience in inventory management, as they will be responsible for keeping track of salvaged parts and properly storing them in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:
- Disassemble vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Identify and salvage usable parts
- Sort, clean, and organize salvaged parts in the warehouse
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Properly dispose of hazardous materials according to regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory records of salvaged parts
- Work with a team to meet production goals

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in automotive mechanics or vehicle dismantling
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in vehicle dismantling
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of hazardous waste disposal regulations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Salary: $1300 per month (with accommodation)
Location: Almada, Portugal (free visa and ticket provided)
