Civil Engineer

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects in Almada. Your main duties will include conducting site investigations, creating project plans and designs, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring that all work is carried out to industry standards and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and techniques, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You should also have experience working with biometric passports and be familiar with relevant software programs such as AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations and assess potential risks
- Create project plans and designs using AutoCAD
- Manage project budgets and resources
- Monitor progress and ensure work is completed on time and within budget
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Identify any potential issues or challenges and develop solutions to address them

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD software
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with biometric passports is preferred

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Almada, Portugal (candidates must have the legal right to work in Portugal)

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
