Glazier Technician



We are seeking an experienced Glazier Technician to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Glazier Technician, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing glass in various structures such as windows, doors, and storefronts. You will also be involved in the repair and replacement of damaged or broken glass.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark glass for cutting based on blueprints or measurements
- Cut and shape glass using various tools such as cutters, saws, and grinders
- Install glass into frames using specialized techniques such as glazing or caulking
- Repair or replace damaged or broken glass in buildings and structures
- Ensure proper fit and alignment of installed glass
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions accordingly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Glazier Technician or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of different types of glass and their properties
- Familiarity with various tools used in glazing work
- Ability to read blueprints and measurements accurately
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, etc.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients effectively
- Valid driver's license preferred

Working Conditions:
The working hours for this position may vary depending on project deadlines. You may be required to work evenings or weekends if necessary. This job may involve working at heights or in inclement weather conditions. Protective gear such as gloves, goggles, etc. will be provided when necessary.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month. We also offer a benefits package that includes free visa sponsorship and airfare.
