Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team in Almada. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects. This role requires experience in the field and a strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using industry-standard software
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans
- Attend site visits to gather information and provide support during construction
- Conduct research on materials, products, and construction techniques
- Utilize sustainable design principles in all projects
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or other design software
- Experience working on residential or commercial projects is preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
