Preservation Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. This includes conducting research, developing preservation plans, and overseeing the execution of preservation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on historic buildings and structures to determine their significance and condition
- Developing preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the preservation work is carried out effectively
- Overseeing the execution of preservation projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Monitoring the progress of projects and making any necessary adjustments to ensure quality work
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or questions
- Maintaining accurate records of project details, costs, and progress reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in historic preservation
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and guidelines
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong project management skills
Salary: $1400 monthly (with opportunities for growth)
Location: Almada, Portugal (free visa and ticket provided)
