Excavator Operator


We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Almada. As an excavator operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction projects. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to perform tasks such as digging trenches, loading trucks, and moving materials
- Ensure safe operation of the equipment and follow all safety protocols
- Conduct routine maintenance on the equipment and report any malfunctions to the supervisor
- Read and interpret project plans and blueprints to determine the required depth and dimensions of excavation
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of tasks
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an excavator operator in a construction environment
- Valid certification or license to operate heavy equipment
- Knowledge of excavation techniques, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods of time
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting

Preference will be given to candidates who are able to provide their own accommodation in Almada. This position is open for students who have their own visa or are eligible for work visas.
