We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This is a contract position with no accommodation provided, so we are looking for someone who already lives in or near Almada.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Ensure all items are scanned and priced correctly
- Answer any customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred
- Good math skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Working Hours:
This is an urgent job with full-time hours. The exact schedule will be discussed during the interview process.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.
