Restaurant Manager (Almada, Portugal)
As a Restaurant Manager at our establishment in Almada, Portugal, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. Your main goal will be to ensure that customers have an exceptional dining experience and that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the restaurant, including staff, inventory, and finances
- Train and develop team members to maintain high standards of customer service and food quality
- Create work schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor staff performance
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed
- Develop new menu items and promotions to attract customers
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation of food orders
- Collaborate with marketing team to promote the restaurant through various channels
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment (at least 2 years)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in Portuguese (both written and verbal) is preferred but not required
- Must be able to manage high-stress situations with ease
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
