We are in search of an experienced and detail-oriented Instrument Technician to join our dynamic team in Almada, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and a proven track record of troubleshooting and repairing various instruments. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and calibrating various instruments such as meters, gauges, and transmitters. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As an Instrument Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment is functioning properly to support our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure their proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments using technical manuals and diagnostic equipment
- Calibrate instruments for accurate readings
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed when working with electrical equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is preferred
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with various types of instruments such as meters, gauges, transmitters, etc.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment if necessary

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.
