Radio Technician

A reputable radio station in Almada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all radio equipment used for broadcasting. This includes transmitters, receivers, antennas, and other related equipment. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise and ensuring the smooth operation of all broadcasting equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain all radio equipment used for broadcasting
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with broadcasting equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Assist with the design and implementation of new radio systems
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment
- Stay updated on advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of all broadcasting equipment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Knowledge of radio frequency theory and principles
- Familiarity with various types of broadcasting equipment, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, etc.
- Experience with troubleshooting technical issues and performing repairs on electronic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in both English and Portuguese (preferred)

Salary: 1000$ per month (with accommodation provided)

Location: Almada, Portugal (candidates from other nationalities are welcome)
