Construction Project Manager


We are in search of an experienced and skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team in Almada. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from conception to completion
- Develop project timelines and budgets, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure project goals are met
- Oversee the hiring of subcontractors and negotiate contracts
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or delays that may arise
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns or questions
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, permits, etc.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on project status

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
