Carpenter - Almada



We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Almada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and experience with both traditional and modern techniques. The main responsibility of this role will be to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The successful candidate must be physically fit, able to work at heights, and have good manual dexterity. This is a contract position, with a salary of $1300 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood
- Measure and cut materials to the required specifications
- Install windows, doors, cabinets, furniture, and other wooden items
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and building codes
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Collaborate with other members of the team to complete projects on time
- Follow blueprints and building plans to accurately complete projects
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans
- Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy materials or standing for long periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship
- Basic math skills for measuring materials accurately
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members effectively

Preference will be given to candidates who are physically fit, able to work at heights, have experience working on construction sites or in similar environments. A valid driver's license is also preferred.
