Land Surveyor Assistant


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Land Surveyor Assistant in Almada, Portugal. As a student-friendly position, this role offers flexibility in scheduling to accommodate your academic commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the land surveyor in conducting field surveys and measurements using various equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser levels
- Collect and record data accurately and efficiently, ensuring all measurements are within specified tolerances
- Assist with drafting survey plans and preparing reports using AutoCAD or other software programs
- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy of measurements
- Conduct research and gather information to support survey activities
- Communicate with team members and clients to coordinate survey projects

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in land surveying, civil engineering, or related field
- Proficient in using AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
- Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
