Caregiver in Almada with Accommodation

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to elderly or disabled individuals in their homes or in a care facility. This position includes accommodation for the caregiver.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
- Administer medication and assist with medical appointments
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Communicate regularly with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client's needs

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Must be physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must pass a criminal background check
