Body Repair Technician

We are in search of a skilled and dedicated Body Repair Technician to join our team in Almada. As a Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to their original condition. This is a contract position, with the possibility of visa sponsorship and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of the damage
- Determine the best repair method and provide cost estimates
- Repair or replace damaged body parts, including panels, frames, and structural components
- Remove dents, scratches, and rust from vehicle bodies
- Align and straighten vehicle frames using specialized equipment
- Weld or bond replacement parts into place
- Sand, prime, and paint repaired areas to match the rest of the vehicle
- Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure proper functioning

Requirements:
- Proven experience in body repair or similar role
- Knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Automotive Collision Repair or related field
- Experience working with a variety of makes and models of vehicles
- Knowledge of computerized estimating systems
- Valid driver's license

Salary: 1400$/month (negotiable based on experience)
