Web Developer - Svalbard



We are in need of a skilled Web Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to our clients' specifications. You will work closely with our design and content teams to ensure the best user experience and functionality.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing websites using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Collaborating with designers and content creators to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites
- Ensuring website functionality and performance on various devices and browsers
- Troubleshooting website issues and implementing solutions
- Conducting website maintenance tasks such as updates and backups
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in web development

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Strong programming skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant languages
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for web development
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This job is located in Svalbard. While we do not provide accommodation, we can assist in finding suitable housing options if needed.
