IT Manager


We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to oversee our company's technology operations in Svalbard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology and proven experience in managing and maintaining complex systems. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining technological solutions, managing IT staff, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our company's network. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a keen eye for detail. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of network administration, security systems, and software development
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well under pressure

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the company's technology operations in Svalbard
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the company's technology infrastructure
- Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling
- Ensure the security of our company's network by implementing necessary measures and protocols
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Stay updated on new technologies and make recommendations for improvements to current systems
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide support as needed
