Computer Research Scientist

We are hiring a highly skilled Computer Research Scientist to join our team in Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research and developing new technologies in the field of computer science. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on cutting-edge computer science topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data mining
- Develop innovative algorithms and software solutions to address complex problems
- Collaborate with a team of researchers, engineers, and developers to implement solutions and bring them to market
- Analyze data and results from experiments, provide insights, and make recommendations for future research directions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field by attending conferences, reading journals, and participating in relevant forums
- Write research papers and present findings at conferences or workshops

Requirements:
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting research in computer science or related fields
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Hands-on experience with software development tools and techniques such as version control systems, testing frameworks, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas effectively

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1100$ per month along with other benefits.

Location:
This position is based in Svalbard. Candidates must have their own visa that allows them to work without accommodation.
