IT Support Specialist



We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Svalbard. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our computer systems and software. This position is suitable for both men and women. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems and software
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure
- Perform system backups and recovery procedures
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues
- Communicate with end-users to resolve technical problems
- Train employees on how to use new technologies or software
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
- Experience with network infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: 1800$
