Computer Support Specialist (Contract) - Svalbard, Norway


We are a fast-growing technology company seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Support Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. As our Computer Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients in need of technical assistance and support. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and configure computer systems, applications, and peripherals
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems
- Set up user accounts and permissions
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and technical solutions provided

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, networks, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Customer-oriented with a patient and empathetic approach when dealing with clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this contract position.

Location:
This position is based in Svalbard, Norway. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate if not already residing in Svalbard.
