Computer Support Specialist



We are looking for a skilled Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Svalbard. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers and employees. This is a contract position with a salary of 900$ per month.

To excel in this role, you must have experience in troubleshooting computer issues, setting up hardware and software, and providing remote technical support. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email or remote access
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues
- Install and configure computer systems, printers, and other peripherals
- Maintain records of customer interactions and resolutions
- Train customers on how to use new software or hardware
- Collaborate with other team members to solve complex technical problems

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, networks, and security
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Customer-oriented approach with good problem-solving skills
