DevOps Developer


Position Summary:
We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's software development infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to ensure efficient and successful software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain the company's software development infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize software delivery processes.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of applications.
- Troubleshoot issues in production environments.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of systems.
- Implement security best practices to protect company data and systems.
- Continuously improve processes and tools to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this position.

Contract job:
This is a contract job without accommodation. You will be responsible for your own accommodation during the duration of the contract.
