We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract JAVA Developer to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Java programming language
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and create technical specifications
- Write efficient, reusable, and testable code
- Troubleshoot and debug existing software solutions
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field of Java development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and other related technologies
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Location:
Svalbard is a remote island located between mainland Norway and the North Pole. The island offers a unique environment for outdoor enthusiasts with its stunning landscapes and opportunities for adventure activities such as dog sledding and snowmobiling. As this is a contract position, accommodation will not be provided. However, we can assist with finding suitable housing options. Additionally, we will provide free visa sponsorship and travel arrangements for the selected candidate.
