PHP Developer


We are hiring a talented PHP Developer to join our dynamic team in Svalbard. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring their functionality and efficiency. Your primary focus will be on writing clean, well-designed code and implementing innovative solutions to improve user experience. You will work closely with our designers, project managers, and other developers to create high-quality software that meets our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP programming language
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in web development technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a PHP Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of PHP programming language and its frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter)
- Experience working with MySQL databases
- Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
