PHP Developer


We are in search of a skilled PHP Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications according to client specifications. Your primary focus will be developing and maintaining back-end components of web applications, while also collaborating with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PHP programming language, as well as experience with SQL databases and front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP programming language
- Develop and maintain back-end components of web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration between front-end and back-end systems
- Troubleshoot issues and perform bug fixes as needed
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in web development technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PHP Developer or similar role
- Proven experience working with SQL databases (MySQL preferred)
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: 1500$ per month

Location: Svalbard (accommodation not provided)

Additional Requirements:
As this position requires working on projects for clients based in different countries, candidates must have a valid biometric passport and be willing to travel if needed.
