Part-Time QA Engineer for Biometric Passport System in Svalbard

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis in Svalbard. As the QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our biometric passport system.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements
- Conduct thorough testing of software systems, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Identify and report defects or issues found during testing
- Work closely with developers to understand system functionality and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of high-quality software products
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Experience with software testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or Appium
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Familiarity with biometric technologies is preferred but not required
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is $1300 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard. While preference will be given to candidates who are already based in Svalbard or nearby areas, we are open to considering remote candidates who are willing to travel occasionally for team meetings.
