Part-time Software Developer

We are a software development company based in Svalbard and we are seeking a part-time software developer to join our team. As a part-time software developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications. You will work closely with our full-time developers to contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for our clients.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software development
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with full-time developers to design and implement new features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Conduct unit testing and debugging of code
- Update and maintain existing software applications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

This is an urgent job opportunity so candidates who can start immediately are preferred. The salary for this position is $1600 per month. Candidates with experience developing biometric passport systems will be given priority.
