Junior Software Developer



We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Software Developer to join our team in Svalbard. This full time position is suitable for men with or without experience. The ideal candidate will have a biometric passport and a passion for coding and problem solving.

As a Junior Software Developer, you will work closely with our senior developers to design, develop, and maintain software applications. You will have the opportunity to learn new technologies and programming languages while contributing to the growth of our company.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to design and develop software solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Test and debug software applications
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Troubleshoot issues reported by clients or internal users
- Assist with software deployment and maintenance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of programming principles and concepts
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C++, Python etc.)
- Experience with web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Biometric passport (or willingness to obtain one)
