Contract Software Developer in Svalbard

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Software Developer to join our team in Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, using your expertise in coding, testing, and debugging. You will work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and budget.

Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications
- Collaborating with project manager and team members to determine project requirements
- Developing high-quality code that meets technical specifications
- Conducting code reviews and making necessary modifications
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Keeping up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
- Meeting project deadlines and delivering quality work within budget constraints

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a software developer
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with software development tools (e.g. Git, JIRA)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Svalbard. Visa sponsorship is available for international candidates.
