Junior Game Developer


We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Game Developer to join our growing team in Svalbard. As a Junior Game Developer, you will work closely with our senior developers to assist in the design, development, and implementation of engaging and immersive games for our players. This is a part-time position with a starting salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and develop new game concepts
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in various programming languages such as C++, Java, and Unity
- Test and debug code to ensure smooth gameplay experience for players
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve game quality
- Work closely with artists, designers, and other team members to create visually appealing and engaging games
- Assist in the maintenance and updates of existing games

Requirements:
- Passion for gaming and familiarity with different game genres
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C++, Java, or Unity
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing mobile games for iOS or Android platforms
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of game engines such as Unreal Engine or CryEngine
- Experience working on game projects (personal projects or internships)
