Data Mining Specialist
Our company is a leading data analysis firm located in the beautiful city of Svalbard. We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Mining Specialist to join our growing team. As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will aid in decision-making processes. You will work closely with our data scientists and business analysts to develop effective strategies for data collection, cleaning, and analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize various techniques and tools to extract, clean, and analyze large sets of data
- Identify patterns and trends within the data to provide valuable insights
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to develop effective strategies for data collection and analysis
- Develop models for predictive analysis using statistical methods
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
- Continuously monitor the quality of data used in analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in data mining or related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in data mining
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms is preferred
- Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends within complex datasets
- Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to non-technical stakeholders
