Project Manager – Contract (Svalbard)


A leading construction company in Svalbard is seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to execution. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has a strong background in project management.

Responsibilities:
- Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Track project progress and ensure completion within established deadlines
- Communicate project updates and issues to senior management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Manage project documentation and record keeping
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in project management, preferably in construction or related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Asana
- Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred
