Data Analytics Specialist

We are currently hiring a skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Svalbard. In this position, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data to identify patterns and trends that will inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis techniques, as well as experience with relevant software and tools such as SQL, Tableau and Python.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze large datasets using various tools and techniques
- Identify patterns and trends within the data to assist in making informed business decisions
- Develop reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments in data analytics and make recommendations for process improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of successfully delivering insights through data analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and interpret large datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python or other relevant software/tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and understanding business needs
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

This is a contract job with a salary of $1100 per month. Accommodation will not be provided, but candidates must have their own visa. Women are encouraged to apply for this position.
