We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Svalbard. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text for various printed materials, ensuring the final product is visually appealing and error-free.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize typesetting software to format text according to design specifications
- Proofread and correct any spelling or grammatical errors
- Select appropriate fonts, sizes, and spacing for optimal readability
- Collaborate with designers and editors to ensure layout meets project requirements
- Prepare files for printing or digital publishing platforms
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one

Salary: $1600 per month
