Facade Technician in Svalbard


We are seeking a skilled Facade Technician to join our team in Svalbard. As a Facade Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of building facades, ensuring their structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair various types of building facades, such as glass, metal, stone, and composite materials
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any signs of wear or damage and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure that facades meet design specifications and building codes
- Operate specialized tools and equipment to complete tasks safely and efficiently
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Facade Technician in a similar role
- Strong understanding of facade construction techniques, materials, and industry standards
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with facades
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights using proper safety equipment
- Proven track record of working well in a team environment while also being able to take initiative on individual tasks
- Availability for full-time work with occasional overtime as needed
