Moderator (Contract)

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Moderator to join our team on a contract basis in Svalbard. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for facilitating and monitoring online discussions, ensuring that all participants adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by the platform. This position requires excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to remain unbiased and objective in handling potentially sensitive topics.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and moderate online discussions on various platforms
- Enforce rules and guidelines set by the platform
- Monitor user-generated content for inappropriate or offensive language/material
- Respond promptly to user inquiries and concerns
- Maintain a professional and unbiased approach in all interactions with users

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Moderator or in a similar role is required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm and objective in handling difficult or sensitive situations
- Familiarity with various online platforms and their respective rules/guidelines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus)
