Roofer (Svalbard)



We are a roofing company based in Svalbard, and we are seeking experienced roofers to join our team. As a roofer, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and maintaining roofs on various types of buildings. This is a physically demanding job that requires working at heights and in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Install and repair various types of roofs including shingles, tiles, and metal
- Measure and cut materials to fit specific roof dimensions
- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
- Inspect roofs for damage and perform necessary repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working at heights

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a roofer is required
- Strong physical stamina and able to work at heights
- Good knowledge of different roofing materials and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per week.

Location:
This position is based in Svalbard. Please note that accommodation will not be provided.
