Part-Time Tiler in Svalbard



We are seeking a part-time tiler to join our team in Svalbard. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for flexible working hours and has a passion for tiling. As a tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles in residential and commercial buildings.

Requirements:
- No experience necessary, as on-the-job training will be provided.
- Must have basic knowledge of tools and materials used in tiling.
- Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be a resident of Svalbard or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas using hand or power tools.
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, cleaning and leveling the area.
- Mix and apply mortar or adhesive to secure tiles in place.
- Set tiles in position and align them correctly using spacers.
- Grout between tiles to fill gaps and seal surfaces.
- Install tile trim around edges for a finished look.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance.
