Tiler - Svalbard Contract Position


We are in search of a skilled Tiler to join our team on a contract basis in Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tile surfaces in various residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in tiling and the ability to work independently without accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific spaces
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning and leveling
- Install tiles using grout, cement, or other adhesives
- Repair or replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tiler
- Proficient in measuring, cutting, and installing different types of tiles
- Able to work independently without accommodation
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety procedures
- Excellent time management skills

Salary:

Location:
The job is located in Svalbard, a remote archipelago located between Norway and the North Pole. As such, it is required that the candidate is able to adapt to living in a remote location with limited amenities.
