Painter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team in Svalbard. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, or other finishes to buildings, structures, and other surfaces. Your main goal will be to ensure that our projects are completed with high-quality results that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and filling holes and cracks
- Select and mix paints and other materials according to the project requirements
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint
- Calculate the necessary amount of materials needed for each project
- Ensure proper ventilation when working with toxic substances
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment after each use
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Painter
- Proven experience in painting residential or commercial buildings
- Excellent knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- Ability to mix colors accurately to achieve desired shades
- Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights if necessary
- Detail-oriented with an eye for perfection
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have own transportation to travel between job sites

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Svalbard (no accommodation provided)

Visa/Travel: Free visa and ticket provided for international candidates
