Part-Time Formworker in Svalbard



We are currently seeking a part-time Formworker to join our team in Svalbard. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling concrete forms for various construction projects. This is an entry-level position, making it a great opportunity for freshers to gain experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Construct wooden or metal forms for pouring concrete
- Set and secure forms in place using various tools and equipment
- Pour, spread, and level concrete according to specifications
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand or power tools
- Check completed forms for accuracy and quality
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment after use

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Formworker is not required, but some basic knowledge of construction is preferred
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
